About
I'm Ritt — I build software, and I write about the parts I had to figure out the hard way.
This blog isn't a place for “here's the easy way to do X.” It's closer to a working notebook. I build from the ground up, one step at a time, and I try to understand what I'm standing on before I climb higher. When I learn something new — how the browser paints a frame, why a data structure is shaped the way it is, what a framework is really doing underneath — I don't stop at “it works.” I stop at “I can explain why.”
I treat being stuck as a signal, not a dead end. So a lot of what you'll find here starts where I got stuck, and walks through how I tried again — not the same way, a little smarter each time.
I won't pretend to know things I don't. If something here is uncertain, I'll say so. That's the deal: slow, honest, built to last.
